Pro Tips for Reporting Day
- Use a folder with labeled sections: Separate your originals from photocopies. Label each section (Class 10, Class 12, Category, etc.) so you can quickly retrieve any document at any verification desk.
- Arrive early: Reporting queues are long, especially on the first day. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the reporting desk opens.
- Check OBC certificate validity: OBC-NCL certificates must be current year and specifically state "non-creamy layer". An expired certificate will not be accepted.
- Medical certificate format: Many institutes provide a specific format for the medical fitness certificate. Download and use their format rather than a generic one.
- Online document submission: Many institutes now require you to upload documents on their portal before physical reporting. Complete this step well in advance.
