JEE Advanced 2026 Qualifying Marks
Minimum marks required in each subject and aggregate · Declared June 1, 2026
What Qualifying Marks Mean in JEE Advanced 2026
JEE Advanced qualifying marks are the minimum marks needed to be included in the rank list. Candidates usually need to clear both aggregate and subject-wise requirements. Clearing the qualifying cutoff means you can receive a rank, but it does not guarantee admission to an IIT branch.
For counselling, compare your actual rank with JoSAA opening and closing ranks. A candidate just above the qualifying marks may still need to consider newer IITs, less competitive branches, preparatory courses or non-IIT options depending on category and seat availability.
