Common questions about MHT CET 2026 score calculation and marks to percentile conversion

1
How is MHT CET 2026 score calculated?
MHT CET 2026 scoring: Each correct answer = +2 marks. No marks for unattempted questions. No negative marking — wrong answers also give 0 marks. Total marks = Correct Answers × 2. This makes MHT CET relatively straightforward to calculate compared to JEE Main.
2
What raw score in MHT CET 2026 gives 99 percentile?
Exact marks-to-percentile conversion depends on difficulty level and candidate distribution. Based on 2025 data, approximately 175–185 marks out of 200 corresponds to 99 percentile in PCM. For 99.5 percentile, you likely need 185–190 marks. For 99.9 percentile, 190–195+ marks are needed. These are estimates — actual cutoffs depend on the specific 2026 exam difficulty.
