KEAM 2026 Engineering Counselling Has Concluded

KEAM 2026 Phase 1 allotment was released July 8, 2026, Phase 2 allotment was declared July 17, 2026, and Phase 3 (final round) allotment was declared August 5, 2026, with the last date to join the allotted college being August 10, 2026. How to Get Kerala Nativity Certificate

The Kerala Nativity Certificate is the most critical document for KEAM counselling. Here is how to obtain it:

Option 1: e-District Portal (Preferred)

1. Visit edistrict.kerala.gov.in and register
2. Apply for Nativity / Domicile Certificate online
3. Upload required documents (Aadhaar, ration card, etc.)
4. Certificate issued digitally within 7–10 working days
5. Download and print — digitally signed certificates are valid

Option 2: Village Office (Offline)

1. Visit your local Village Office (Desham) with Aadhaar, ration card, and address proof
2. Submit application form for nativity certificate
3. Village Officer verifies and issues within 7–14 days
4. Get 3–4 copies attested by a Gazetted Officer

Document Preparation Tips

Make multiple sets: Prepare 4–5 sets of photocopies of every document. You will need them for online upload, college admission, and hostel admission.
Get attested copies: Get photocopies attested by a Gazetted Officer or from the issuing authority. Self-attested copies may not be accepted everywhere.
Keep originals safe: Store originals in a file folder. Colleges may ask for originals during admission but typically return them. Never hand over originals without getting an acknowledgment.
Scan all documents: Scan clear PDF/JPEG copies of all documents for online upload during CEE Kerala registration. Size limit is usually 100–200 KB per document.
Check expiry dates: Income certificates and NCL certificates are valid for one financial year. Ensure your certificate is current (issued in 2025–26 financial year).

Which is the most important document for KEAM 2026 counselling?

The anti-ragging affidavit is a mandatory document at the time of physical admission to the allotted engineering college. Both the student and a parent/guardian must sign it before a notary or on stamp paper, declaring that they will not engage in or abet any form of ragging. This is a UGC/AICTE requirement for all technical institutions. The college usually provides the format or you can download it from the college's official website.
