Every JoSAA allotment round publishes Opening Rank (OR) and Closing Rank (CR) for every institute-branch-category-quota combination. This data is the backbone of college prediction.

How to Use OR-CR for Choice Filling
- Find your CRL rank from your JEE Main/Advanced scorecard.
- Go to josaa.nic.in → Opening & Closing Ranks → Select Year 2025 → Round 6.
- Filter by category and quota (GEN-OS, HS, OBC-OS, etc.).
- Shortlist institutes where your rank ≤ CR (2025).
- Add a safety buffer — also include institutes where your rank is within CR + 10% as aspirational choices.
- Order your choices from most preferred to least preferred.
