WBJEE JEHOM Counselling Guide 2026 – Homeopathy Admissions in West Bengal

JEHOM (Joint Entrance Examination for Homeopathy) is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) specifically for admission to BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) courses offered at government and private homeopathic medical colleges in West Bengal.

It is important to understand that JEHOM is completely separate from the main WBJEE exam. The main WBJEE tests Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for admission to engineering, technology and pharmacy courses. JEHOM tests Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and leads only to BHMS admissions. The two exams have different question papers, different exam dates, different eligibility criteria, and entirely separate merit lists and counselling processes — even though both are administered by the same board.

Once JEHOM results and the rank-based merit list are released, the counselling process generally follows these steps:

• Online registration on the WBJEE Board counselling portal for JEHOM
• Choice filling — ranking preferred homeopathic colleges in order
• Seat allotment based on rank, category and seat availability
• Reporting at the allotted college within the stipulated window
• Document verification and admission fee payment to confirm the seat
• Participation in subsequent rounds (if applicable) for upgradation or vacant seats

The WBJEE Board conducts multiple distinct entrance exams. Besides JEHOM, it also runs JENPAS UG for nursing and paramedical admissions, and the main WBJEE exam for engineering admissions — see WBJEE Merit List 2026 and our WBJEE vs JEE Main comparison.
