TS EAMCET 2026 Final Phase Seat Allotment
The TG EAPCET (TS EAMCET) 2026 Final Phase was the last regular web-options counselling round conducted by TGCHE. The allotment result was declared, the seat acceptance fee payment deadline was August 7, 2026, the internal sliding round ran August 12–17, 2026, and institute-level spot admissions began August 16, 2026. This page explains how the Final Phase worked, who participated, and what followed it.

What Makes the Final Phase Different
The Final Phase of TG EAPCET (TS EAMCET) 2026 counselling is TGCHE's last structured, web-options-driven allotment round before the process moves to Spot Admission. By this stage, the candidate pool has typically narrowed considerably — many candidates who secured satisfactory seats in Phase 1 or Phase 2 no longer participate, and remaining vacancies tend to be concentrated in less-preferred branches, newer private colleges, or geographically less-central locations. Understanding this shift in seat composition is essential: candidates entering the Final Phase for the first time should not expect the same college-branch spread that was available in Phase 1.
A frequent and costly mistake at this stage is assuming that Phase 1 or Phase 2 web options automatically apply to the Final Phase — they do not. TGCHE requires every participating candidate, regardless of whether they already hold an allotted seat, to log in and submit a completely fresh set of ranked preferences before the Final Phase deadline. Candidates who skip this step because they assume their earlier choices still count will simply not be considered, even if they are otherwise eligible for an upgrade.
Telangana's local area reservation framework continues to govern the Final Phase exactly as it did in earlier phases: approximately 85% of seats in each college-branch combination remain reserved for local-area candidates under the Telangana Educational Institutions (Reservation) rules, with about 15% for non-local candidates, layered on top of BC/SC/ST/EWS vertical reservation. What changes in the Final Phase is seat scarcity — because so few seats remain, the non-local quota in popular branches may be effectively exhausted, making local-area status even more decisive than it was in Phase 1.
College-tier dynamics also shift by the Final Phase. Government-run University colleges (JNTUH- and Osmania University-affiliated) rarely have Convenor Quota vacancies left this late in the process, since demand for these low-fee institutions is consistently high from Phase 1 itself. Private colleges such as CBIT, VNRVJIET, CVR, Vasavi, and MVSR may still show some Final Phase vacancies, but usually only in branches or specializations that were less sought-after earlier, or in colleges slightly outside the most sought-after tier. Candidates entering the Final Phase should calibrate expectations accordingly and treat this round as a genuine opportunity for candidates who were unallotted earlier — not necessarily a chance at their original dream college.
For candidates who already joined a college via an earlier phase, the Final Phase represents a final, low-risk opportunity to upgrade: participating does not jeopardize the seat you already hold unless you are actually allotted something better, in which case you must vacate your current seat and join the new one. Those still unallotted after the Final Phase are not left without options — they automatically roll into the Spot Admission round that follows, which is conducted differently (in-person, rank-wise) rather than through online web options.
Who Should Participate in the Final Phase
If you did not receive any seat in Phase 1 or Phase 2, the Final Phase is your best remaining chance before Spot Admission. Fill fresh web options covering a realistic, broad spread of colleges and branches.
If you already joined a college but want a better branch or a more preferred institute, you can safely participate — you only move if you're allotted something better, and you keep your current seat otherwise.
If you are happy with your Phase 1 or Phase 2 allotment, you do not need to do anything for the Final Phase. Simply continue at your reported college; there is no penalty for not participating.
Some candidates deliberately skip the Final Phase and wait for Spot Admission, especially if they expect specific seats to open up. This is riskier — Spot Admission has fewer seats and stricter in-person deadlines.

Final Phase Strategy Tips
- Fill options broadly. With fewer seats remaining, a narrow list focused only on top colleges risks another unallotted outcome.
- Check quota carefully. Non-local seats may be nearly exhausted in popular branches by this stage — local-area candidates generally have a wider spread of options.
- Don't skip fresh web options even if you participated in earlier phases — TS EAMCET requires re-entry every phase.
- Keep documents ready for Spot Admission as a backup, in case the Final Phase does not yield a seat.
