SRMJEEE College Predictor 2026 – Estimate Your Campus & Branch

SRM has no official predictor tool. Here's how its counselling really works and how to plan realistically.

Why There's No Official SRMJEEE Predictor

Unlike JoSAA, which publishes structured round-wise opening/closing rank data for every institute-branch-category combination, SRM Institute of Science and Technology runs its SRMJEEE counselling as a live, slot-based seat selection process. Candidates are called in rank-order batches and pick from whatever campus-branch combinations are open at that exact moment.

Because seat availability is dynamic and not published as a fixed rank-vs-seat table in advance, a reliable automated predictor cannot be built the way it can for JoSAA. Any site claiming an instant, guaranteed SRMJEEE result predictor is making a claim it can't really back up.

How to Realistically Plan Your SRMJEEE Choices

1. Know your rank band. SRMJEEE ranks in the low thousands typically get first pick of Kattankulathur CSE/IT/CSE-AI seats. Ranks in the mid-range still have strong core branch (ECE, Mechanical, Civil) options at Kattankulathur or CSE at other campuses.

2. Shortlist campuses in order of preference. SRM operates multiple campuses — Kattankulathur (main), Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Delhi-NCR (Modinagar), Amaravati, and Sonepat. Decide your acceptable campus order beforehand so you don't hesitate during your live counselling slot.

3. Have backup branches ready. Since seats fill in real time, walking into counselling with only one acceptable branch in mind is risky. List at least 3-4 branch options per campus.

4. Track previous year patterns loosely. Past candidates' reported ranks for specific campus-branch combos can give a rough sense of where cutoffs tend to fall, but treat these as directional, not exact.

Frequently Asked Questions – SRMJEEE College Predictor 2026

Common questions about predicting your SRM campus and branch

1
Is there an official SRMJEEE college predictor?
No. SRM Institute of Science and Technology does not publish a rank-to-seat predictor tool. Counselling calls candidates in batches based on their SRMJEEE rank, and campus/branch choices are made live during counselling based on real-time seat availability, not a fixed closing-rank chart published in advance.
2
How does SRMJEEE counselling actually allot campuses and branches?
Candidates are called for counselling (online or in-person) in rank-based batches. During your slot, you choose from the campuses (Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Delhi-NCR, Amaravati, Sonepat, etc.) and branches that still have open seats at that moment. Higher-ranked candidates counsel earlier and get first pick, so your effective options shrink as your rank number increases.
3
How can I estimate my SRM campus and branch before counselling?
Look at previous year (2025) SRMJEEE rank-wise allotment trends shared by SRM or aggregated from past candidates' experiences. As a rough pattern, Kattankulathur CSE/IT typically needs a rank within the top few thousand, core branches at Kattankulathur need slightly higher ranks, and other campuses (Ramapuram, Vadapalani, NCR) open up at comparatively higher rank numbers. Treat this only as a directional guide, not a guarantee.
4
Does a better SRMJEEE rank guarantee a specific branch?
No. Even with a good rank, seat availability at the exact moment of your counselling slot determines your actual options. Popular combinations like CSE/CSE-AI at the main Kattankulathur campus fill up very fast, so being prepared with backup branch and campus choices is essential.
5
Should I also apply for JEE Main counselling alongside SRMJEEE?
Yes, if you're eligible. SRMJEEE is a separate, private university admission process. Most serious JEE aspirants keep both options open — JoSAA/CSAB for NITs/IIITs/GFTIs via JEE Main rank, and SRMJEEE as a strong private backup. You can check your JoSAA/CSAB chances with our college predictor tool.
