KCET 2026 Result Date & Rank Predictor

KCET 2026 results are expected in June 2026, typically within 3–4 weeks after the exam (usually conducted in April/May). In 2025, KCET was held in April 2025 and results were declared in June 2025. Following this pattern, KCET 2026 results should be out by June 2026. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will announce results at kea.kar.nic.in.

KCET 2026 rank is calculated based on marks in Physics (60 marks), Chemistry (60 marks), and Mathematics (60 marks) — total 180 marks for PCM group. There is no negative marking. Rank is assigned based on total PCM marks, with tie-breaking criteria like marks in Mathematics, then Physics, then date of birth (older candidates get priority). Separate ranks are given for each category (GM/2A/2B/3A/3B/SC/ST).

RVCE Bangalore (RV College of Engineering) CSE requires approximately KCET rank 1,000–3,000 for GM (General Merit) category. For OBC-2A, cutoff is around 2,000–5,000. For SC/ST, significantly lower ranks qualify. RVCE CSE is among the most competitive seats in Karnataka engineering through KCET.

KCET 2026 counselling (KEA counselling) is expected to begin in July 2026 after results are declared in June 2026. The counselling includes online registration, document verification, choice filling, and seat allotment rounds. Typically 3 rounds are conducted: Round 1 (July), Round 2 (August), and Mop-up Round (August/September).

KCET 2026 covers multiple streams: PCM group for engineering and architecture; PCB group for MBBS (alongside NEET), BDS, BAMS, B.Pharm; and other science groups. For engineering admissions through KEA counselling, KCET PCM score is the primary criterion. NEET score is still mandatory for MBBS/BDS in Karnataka colleges regardless of KCET score.
