Last Month StrategyJEE Main RevisionMock TestsExam Preparation
How to prepare in the last month before JEE Main? What is the ideal strategy?
Last Month JEE Main Strategy:
What to do (and what NOT to do):
✅ DO:
- Mock tests every 2 days: Full 3-hour tests under exam conditions
- Deep analysis after each mock: Don't just check score — analyse WHY you got something wrong
- Revise formula sheets: Not full chapter reading — just formulas + key concepts
- Focus on accuracy: Better to attempt 60 questions with 90% accuracy than 75 with 70%
- Previous year papers: Last 5 years JEE Main, focus on repeated topic types
- Sleep 8 hours: Memory consolidation happens during sleep — don't cut it
❌ DON'T:
- Start new chapters now (too risky — may confuse existing knowledge)
- Pull all-nighters
- Overanalyse your mock scores (one bad mock is not final result)
- Compare with peers' preparation
- Skip meals or exercise
Daily Schedule Template:
- 6-7 AM: Quick 30-min formula revision
- 9 AM-12 PM: Weak area focused practice
- 2-5 PM: Mock test (alternating days)
- 6-8 PM: Analyse mock / revise PYQs
- 9 PM: Light reading / previous year analysis
Target by exam day: Comfortable with exam interface, calm mindset.
