COMEDK 2026 Counselling Dates & Schedule

Based on previous year patterns, COMEDK 2026 counselling registration is expected to begin in June–July 2026, after COMEDK UGET 2026 results are declared. The official schedule is published on comedk.org. Candidates should have their COMEDK scorecard, Class 10/12 documents, and photo ID ready.

COMEDK 2026 counselling typically has 2 main rounds: Round 1 and Round 2. After these rounds, any remaining vacant seats are filled through a Spot Admission round. Round 1 fills most seats in July–August, and Round 2 is held in September 2026 to fill vacant and upgraded seats.

Yes. Unlike many state counsellings that have domicile reservations, COMEDK counselling is open to candidates from all states across India. There is no Karnataka domicile requirement. All seats are filled on pure merit based on COMEDK UGET rank. This makes COMEDK attractive for students outside Karnataka as well.

Yes. In COMEDK Round 2, candidates who accepted a seat in Round 1 can exercise the 'Upgrade' option to get a better college or branch, if available based on their rank. If an upgrade is allotted, the Round 1 seat is released. If no upgrade is available, the Round 1 seat is retained. The Upgrade option must be explicitly selected during Round 2 registration.
