National Testing Agency has started JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration. Check eligibility, exam dates, and how to apply online before the deadline.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the registration process for JEE Main 2026 Session 1. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website - jeemain.nta.ac.in.



The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted in January 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts on multiple days across various centers in India and abroad.



Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. They should have passed Class 12 or equivalent in 2024, 2025, or appearing in 2026 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.



The application fee is ₹1000 for male candidates of General/OBC category and ₹800 for female candidates, SC/ST/PwD candidates. The fee can be paid through credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.



Candidates must upload scanned images of photograph and signature as per the specifications. The photograph should be clear with white background and the signature should be done on white paper with black ink.



Candidates are advised to submit their applications well before the last date to avoid last-minute rush. The correction window will be opened for a limited period after the registration closes.
