Most Accurate JEE Mains College Predictor 2026
Built on real round-wise JoSAA 2026 cutoff data across NITs, IIITs and GFTIs for a grounded, honest estimate
What Makes a Predictor Trustworthy
Plenty of websites call their tool the "most accurate" JEE Main college predictor without explaining what backs that claim. For us, it comes down to the data: our predictions are built on real, round-wise JoSAA 2026 cutoff data captured across Round 1 through the final round, for every NIT, IIIT, and GFTI participating in counselling — not a single flattened cutoff number scraped from one source.
This matters because JoSAA seat allocation is a multi-round process. A rank that misses the cutoff in Round 1 can still get a seat in Round 3 or 4 as other candidates upgrade or withdraw. Our 2026 dataset shows exactly this kind of movement — for example, NITs overall averaged a closing rank around 24,602 in early rounds, with top institutes like NIT Trichy closing as low as 205, while others extended well past 50,000 — a range that any single-number predictor would flatten into one misleading figure.
We do not claim this makes predictions infallible. No tool can know next year's applicant pool or exact seat matrix in advance. What real multi-round data does is remove guesswork from the baseline — the estimate reflects how allocation actually behaved, not an assumption about how it might.
