Frequently Asked Questions

What does the JEE Main Score Analysis show?
It shows aggregate statistics computed from official NTA response sheets submitted to our calculator - slot-wise averages, subject-wise difficulty, score distributions, and top 1%/10% benchmarks for each paper.
Which session does this analysis cover?
This analysis covers JEE Main April 2026 (Session 2) across all exam slots (Apr 02–08, both shifts). January session data is not included.
How is the 'hardest' and 'easiest' slot determined?
The slot with the lowest average total score is marked as hardest. The slot with the highest average total is marked easiest.
What is the Top 1% / Top 10% average?
Top 1% avg is the mean score of the highest-scoring 1% of students for that slot - a benchmark for elite performance. Top 10% avg covers the top tenth, useful as a realistic high-achiever target.
Is this analysis official?
No. This is an independent analysis based on response sheets voluntarily submitted to our calculator. It is not affiliated with NTA. The more students use our calculator, the more representative these statistics become.
Why does my score not appear in the distribution?
You need to calculate your score via our JEE Main Score Calculator first. Once you do, your score is automatically counted in these statistics.
